HAND ART - BUNNY HOP
Trace your child's hand horizontally, fingers pointing to the left side of the paper, with the thumb and the index finger extended up and spaced apart while the three other fingers are held together, palm towards the right side of the paper.
After you trace the hand and fingers, use pink, blue and black crayons to add bunny features to the palm face. Eyes blue, nose pink and black whiskers. Then glue cotton on the traced part of the three fingers held together for the fluffy bunny tail. Fun to make for spring or Easter.
HAND ART - SUMMER SAILING
Trace your child's hand horizontally, with the palm facing the right side of the paper and the fingers the left side of the paper. The thumb should be extended up, with the other four fingers held closely together.
Using crayons or markers, add a design to the sail and cut it out. On a sheet of brown paper, cut out a small boat with a mast. Then glue this on a sheet of blue paper. With a black marker, outline a small flag at the top of the mast. Write your child's name in the small flag. Now glue on the sail that you made from your child's handprint. Now your child has her/his own sailboat to catch the breeze.
