On a smooth, hard surface, spread out some old newspapers or bags. Place your paper down on this and then have your child arrange some fresh flowers and leaves onto the areas that they want the imprints to come out on.

Now place some waxed paper on top of the flowers and leaves and pound them with a hammer. You'll decide whether or not your child is old enough to use the hammer safely. Your child can even make gift tags that are your childs special tags to his grandma, grandpa, or anyone!! Some flowers and leaves work better than others, so experiment with a variety to see what works best.
