You will need for each child's project

A small piece of faux fur any color (available at craft stores like Michael's and A.C. Moore).

2 plastic and movable eyes

1 yellow pipe cleaner

1 yellow pom pom

1 pencil

a pair of safe rounded scissors for kids (they can share a couple pairs if you need)

Elmers glue

Take a piece of green fun fur that is big enough to go around pencil with a small overlap. Wrap the fun fur around the top area of the pencil. Make sure the fur sticks up too like wacky hair!!

Wrap the yellow pipe cleaner around the bottom of the fur and the pencil. Twist it together to fasten the fur securely to the pencil.

Loop each end of the pipe cleaner in a bow shape. If the ends are too long, cut off the excess. Separate the fur a little bit where you want to glue on the eyes. Put a spot of glue on the back of the plastic eyes and glue into place.

Finally, make the nose by by gluing the yellow pompom just below the eyes.
